"I contacted your surgery on behalf of my mother who was very unwell on the morning of Friday 22nd February (2019). I dealt with a lady who answered the telephone, a doctor who called back and another doctor who made a home visit. In each case, the response that we received was courteous, kind, and very efficient. I am grateful for the response and the attention that we received and would like to thank all those who helped us."
"I should just like to place on record my appreciation of the excellent service I received from your Practice last Thursday 17th January 2019.
I was feeling extremely unwell when my wife phoned for an urgent appointment to see a Doctor at 4.20pm.
Your receptionist was more than helpful, with the result that 40 minutes later I was being expertly attended to by your Dr Rawlings who diagnosed influenza and had me admitted to Hospital within the hour, where I thankfully spent the night and again received first class attention.
One hears a lot these days of how impossible it is to get a doctor's appointment, and how generally rubbish the NHS is performing. Well I am here to tell you that this has certainly not been my experience. In fact at the time of writing I am about to return to your surgery for a follow-up appointment.

"We just wanted to pass on our thanks to the receptionist team and especially Dr Rihal who contacted us on Tuesday 11th Dec (2018) offering emergency advice and care.
We were having a very bad day with all members of our family suffering with a vomiting bug just as we were about to travel abroad. Dr Rihal was extremely sympathetic, patient and kind during the consultation and very reassuring for which we were very grateful.
Both my wife and I have had to engage with the practice more than we would like in the last year, due to several health issues, but we continue to be impressed with the manner in which we have treated throughout."

"Today at 11:45am I came in to arrange for my ears to be checked prior to visiting the hearing services at the Hallamshire on the 26th October. Within minutes Tina checked to see that my ears were free from wax. Karen R, Karen, Jessica, Tina and the receptionists were so helpful and delighted to help me.
I have been registered at the Carterknowle Practice since 1965 (47 years). The professionalism of the doctors & staff have never failed to impress me”
“On Monday 22nd October, I collapsed on Abbeydale Road close to the surgery. I wish to thank Dr Green and the practice nurse Sue for their swift care and attention before an ambulance arrived and took me to the Northern General Hospital. I write because I feel strongly that their actions should be appropriately registered with the practice.
It is most reassuring that at a time when I was in need and my wife was in a state of great anxiety we were in the care of calm, professional individuals who took control of the situation in very inclement weather”

"I just wanted to say thank you for the manner in which I was dealt with when I came into the surgery last week.
Because of the nature of my illness and feeling overwhelmed I became upset at the reception desk, I was immediately taken into a room away from reception and given privacy and the opportunity to express what I was suffering with in a dignified manner. I was also given a same day appointment to speak with the GP. I just wanted to put in writing and commend you for the training you obviously have received and how you value your patients."
